| June 14th, 2025 Saturday starts with a "Weißwurst - Breakfast". After the briefing the wind looks promising and everybody sailed to the startingarea. 5 to 6 knots there. Stable Conditions. But not enough wind at the weathermark - the race officer decided. Thaks to his knowledge because at noon a rally nice breaze with 8 to 12 knots made possible two realy nice races. In race 7 the Portigese team catchet up to the Belgums. One Point between the two teams before the last race... At the end the Belgums team Xavier Vanneste / Dries Van den Abbeele / Gustavo Lima was able to win the Austrian Grand Prix. The Corinthian trophy went to GER 1153 Peter Fröschl / Nikolaus Stoll / Christian Janas. Congratulations to the winners! |

| June 13th, 2025 Friday was about a copy from Thursday: The wind was 20° more from the left and a bit lighter. Again the warning of the given exact at 11:00 hrs. Like Thursday all three starts was done with Papa-Flag. Only at race four two boats got the X-Flag. POR 90 and AUT 358. This day saw three diffent winners: Race 4 went to GER 1271 (Dirk Neukirchen / Lars Hendriksen / Georgii Leonchuk). Race 5 went to BEL 82 (Xavier Vanneste / Dries Van den Abbeele / Gustavo Lima). Race 6 saw ITA79 (Yevgen Braslavets / Aleksei Zigadlo / Davide Marrella) as first in the finish. Two more races are planned for Saturday and so everything is possible... |

| June 12th, 2025 What a beautiful Thursday! The wind started from NNE in the early morning. After a short morningbriefing the participants left the harbour. Exact at 11:00 the first warning signal was given at winds of 12 to 15 knots. The start under Papa-Flag was clear and the dragons sailed the first of three races in a row. The targettime of 70 minutes was failed only by two to three minutes in all three races. The winner of race one and three was POR 90 (Michael Zankel / Diogo Pereira / Joao Matos Rosa). After a short briefing the race officer hoisted AP on the flagpole of UYCAs.
There was wind with 3 to 7 knots alle the time, but it was too shifty for having a race. Some participants had been out on the water for training. "Nice conditions to put up and down the spinnaker and doing some maneuvers. The wind for sure is to curvy and unstable for a race", was also their resume.
AP got the additional "A" at 17:00 hrs.
The Zipfer bar opened to give out free beer. At 18:00 Austrian dumplings were served by the restaurant of the UYCAs.
"Anyway a nice day", most of the participants agreed.
| June 10th, 2025 On Tuesday there was the day of preperation. All the boats where rigged, cleaned, crained in. The equipment inspection was done by the measurer and the weighing took place. In the evening there was a short opening. This started sadfully with a minute of mourning because of the rampage in a school in Graz. Michael Farthofer, the president of the Union-Yacht-Club Attersee opened the Dragon Grad Prix. Martin Lutz, the vize president of the IDA and Günther Lux, the head of the organizing committee said also some words. The Zipfer bar opened for free beer and the restaurant served Flammkuchen. |

| June 9th, 2025 At the pre race "Litzlwurmpreis" there was no wind but a lot of rain on Saturday. On the second day of racing wind from South was blowing with 13 to 17 knots. Four races where done in the afternoon. Monday had a lot of sun, but the wind arrived late after prizegiving. The winners of the Litzlwurmpreis 2025 are Vinzent Hösch, Pia Dörr and Florian Abele from Germany, who had four wins in four races. On second and third place the Austrians Dietmar Gfreiner and Peter Resch with their crews. |

Yesterday the organizers fixed the rich social program, the UYCAs is well known for, with the sponsors and the JOJO, the restaurant in the Union-Yacht-Club Attersee.
The events of the pre race Litzlwurm will take part together with the competitors of the Star Class.
During the Austrian Dragon Grand Prix there is nearly every day food, and every day free beer available for all competitors.
Accompanying persons are welcome on their own costs by buying tickets during registration time on Tuesday.
Crew wanted! Japetus D ITA 16 is member CNAM Alassio, built in Sanremo in 1954 original, is serching for two young or very young and good sailors of the lake as crew, with reimbursement of expenses of € 1000 each so for a total of € 2000 in total all-inclusive to participate in the traditional Litzlwurmpreis and then in the Austrian Dragon Grand Prix launching and hauling, arrival on June 5, 2025 departure on June 15, 2025. The helm is not a champion of the Dragon class but for over 40 years he has been sailing on his Japetus, original wooden mast and boom. In May 2024 in Riva del Garda and in October in Imperia, the octogenarian helm participated in the grade 1 events.

The UYCAs is happy to welcome the Dragon sailors in June to their Grand Prix!
The drafts of the event logo and the notice of race was sent several times to IDA. At the end the logo was improved and the notice of race permitted by IDA and the Austrian Sailing Federation.
After sending the application to host the Austrian Dragon Grand Prix in Oktober 2023, the agreement was signed in October 2024 by all involved parties.
